Experts and Advisors

The Expert and Advisory members provided the INDUCE project with inputs, feedback and advice, thereby contributing to the success, impact and visibility of the project. The board includes experts who represent a broad variety of relevant actors in the field. The experts were regularly informed about the project’s development and activities, invited to contribute input to content creation for the material produced during the project, were invited to hold trainings and to promote the INDUCE methodology and training materials in their respective networks, and generally served as interfaces to the INDUCE target groups.

Antoinet Smits

Advisory Board Member, the Netherlands

More Information

Antoinet Smits has been working at the Dutch Governmental Agency RVO and its predecessors for nearly 30 years. During this period, she has been active in bringing about human behaviour change for energy and climate-change, both in national and international context. She coordinated several European projects on this topic, such as The Guide to Change Energy-related Behaviour in 2000 and the BEHAVE project in 2010.

More recently, she was involved in the work of the International Energy Agency, the Concerted Action for the Energy Efficiency Directive and the Behaviour Insight team within RVO. Antoinet joined the INDUCE project as a member of the Advisory Board because of the innovative and promising approach that was developed by the project designers.

Andrés Pascual Vidal

Andrés Pascual Vidal is an Agricultural Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Head of Innovation at AINIA Technology Center, President of the Quality, Production and Sustainability group of the Spanish Technological Platform Food for Life Spain (PTE F4LS), knowledge partner of the Spanish Biogas Association and member of the Executive Committee of the European group of hygienic engineering EHEDG.

He has more than 20 years of experience in innovation, mainly in the field of environmental and energy technologies. He has led R & D & I projects with companies both at national and European level in areas such as biogas and biomethane, biorefineries, microalgae, lemna, BATs, ozone, etc.

Tobias Peselmann

Tobias Peselmann, general manager of pbr NETZenergie GmbH, has many years of experience in the field of energy efficiency consultancy.

Supporting companies to improve their energy consumption is the main focus of pbr NETZenergie daily work.

The consultancy services include energy management, energy efficiency, energy concepts, renewable energy, CO2 accounting just as training employees. They also help companies to be able to fulfill future requirements and handle the energy tax that will be placed on energy consumption over the next few years in Germany.

Mission statement: “To be there for the customer and to find the best solution for each individual problem.” This is why their customers are always one step ahead.

Beside his function as an Advisory Board Member, Tobias Peselmann gives one of the pilot companies advise and took part in the “INDUCE Trained Trainer” workshop. A good basis to support the INDUCE Methodology.

Laurent FORTI holds an engineering degree from INSA de Lyon (GMC 1987).

After 2 years in the Research Department of Stein Industrie, a subsidiary of Alsthom, he joined the French Institut for petroleum  (now IFP Énergies Nouvelles) in 1990 as a research engineer and then project manager. Within this framework, he coordinates numerous national and international multi-partner research projects.

In 2007, he joined the General Management, which he assists in particular in the creation and operation of the National Alliance for the Coordination of Energy Research (ANCRE). In 2011, he was appointed Head of Research and Innovation Programs, first in the Scientific Department and then in the Incubation and SME Department. Since then, he has managed a portfolio of projects relating, for example, to the design of CO2 recovery processes and tools for improving the energy and environmental efficiency of industrial systems. Since 2010, he has been co-leader of the “Industries and Agriculture” Programmatic Group of ANCRE.
